Interaction design (not only for asynchronous communication)
How to convince people to (re)act?
How do you get people to respond in an asynchronous setting?
How do you convince people to (re)act on your information?

🔮 Be specific about what you need
Do you want them to acknowledge what you shared?
Do you need comments on the entire proposal?
Do you need feedback on specific parts of your idea?
⏲️ Be candid about your deadlines and their impact
Do you need that reaction by the end of today, by the end of this week, whenever (if ever) they have time, or are you simply thinking out loud?
And if you really really need the input, send a reminder as the deadline looms ahead.
Or, alternatively, spell out which decision you are going to make if you don’t get any input that can convince you otherwise.
What do you do to make sure your requests don't get lost in the noise?
